Project manager

Menu – Project – Project manager

Here you can do the folowing:

  • Create a new project.
  • Edit a project.
  • Delete a project.
  • Save a project to archive (make a backup copy).
  • Synchronize a project.
Note!

Sometimes when creating a new project, it is needed to copy all data on submission from the previous project in order not to open catalogues of unsuitable subject area again. This saves your time for submission.

For example: you submitted a site No.1 of tourist subject area in your base. Another order for submission of a site No.2 appeared, tourist subject area again.

  1. Create a project No.2.
  2. Synchronize with the project No.1.
  3. Go to “Menu-Tools-Submission-Submission report” and give back all successfully submitted sites to “Left”.
That's all, there is no need to go through catalogues in the project No.2, that were taken to “Failed” or "Later” in the project No.1.


  • Pop-up menu allows to determine the number of successful submissions of the project independently from the base and its existence.

Project creation

  • Project title.

Enter any project title.

  • Client/Executor.

Specify this data, if necessary.

  • Comment.

Optional field.

  • Link to banner picture, width, height.

If the site under submission has a banner then fill in field “Link to banner page (buttons)”.

For example: http://www.mysite.com/logo.gif. (used in submission to some catalogues).

  • URL submission.

Specify your site URL.

Note!
Some catalogues do not accept other site pages, except for home page.
  • Title, Description, Short description and so on.

All other fields should not cause difficulties when filling.

Note!
Length parameters of descriptions for submission: title is from 30 to 60 characters, Short description is from 150 to 250 characters, Full description is from 300 to 400 characters.


Most of these fields (for example “Phone”, “Fax”, etc.) are used in submission to very rare catalogues. Generally, they are required for mailing to bulletin boards, so you can skip them
at all.

Variants

Near each field there is the "Variants" button. Each field can contain different variants of values.

During submission, the program will select values by turn. Thereby, you will have maximally unique data in each catalogue.

Powerful tool Values generation makes variants creation easier.

To create 1000 or more unique quality articles, titles, descriptions or headlines, is not a problem with AllSubmitter.

Synchronize all fields with the title (sorting by "CODE")

Pay attention to checkbox “Synchronize all fields with the title (sorting by "CODE")”.

For example, you have created a range of:

  • 20 variants of “Titles”.
  • 25 variants of “Description”.
  • 30 variants of “Short description”.

During submission, the program will select them by turn.
But in some cases during submission, for example during articles placement, a strict condition must be performed.

Title1 – must correspond to Description 1 and Short description 1.

Title2 – must correspond to Description 2 and Short description 2

And so on, and so forth.

This checkbox is used exactly for this purpose.

Note!

In the given example, there are only 20 titles, so descriptions from 21 to 25 and Short descriptions from 21 to 30 will never be used during submission if this checkbox is selected.

To adjust correspondence in the Variants menu, all fields should be sorted by field Code, it will determine correspondence.

Field “The page you will use to post links to other sites”

Many catalogues require placement of a back link to them, you can specify it in this field.

For example: http://www.mysite.com/links.html.

or http://www.mysite.com/seacrh.php?id=%host_reg%.

Attention! If you specify variable %host_reg% in the link, the program will replace it by the domain name of the catalogue, in which you make a submission.

There is also AllSubmitter-Catalogue php script that will help to automatically place back links, if necessary.

Note!
Allsubmitter-catalogue script is in program folder /catalog/, but description and setting of script are in file links.php.

Then, there are three very important fields

If you adjust them correctly, you will save up to 30% of your time.

  • Field “List of categories, exact match (comma-delimited)”.

For example: Internet technologies, Internet services.

  • Field “List of categories, in which you would like to register your site (comma-delimited)”.

For example: Internet, services, other.

  • Field “Words that should not appear in the name of the category (comma-delimited)”.

For example: porno, sex.

Note!
List of categories for submission should be delimited only by comma, no spaces after comma.


Correct filling of these fields helps the program to select a category (heading) during submission to catalogues. In the given example of filling, the program will work as follows:

  1. It will search for exact match in the list of categories. “Internet technologies, and if it does not find, then:
  2. It will search for exact match in the list of categories. “Internet services”, and if it does not find, then:
  3. It will search at least part of a category containing word “Internet” in the list of categories, if it does not find, then:
  4. It will search at least part of a category containing word “services” in the list of categories, if it does not find, then:
  5. It will search at least part of a category containing word “other” in the list of categories.

And the program will select no category with words: porno, sex.

Note!

The program will start searching in the order you wrote the words.

Advice! As a rule, it is very difficult to describe all possible category variants during project creation, which you will meet during submission. So, during semi-automatic submission, and as soon as the program fails to select a category, edit the project and add it. Later on, this will save your time. Don’t just select manually and quickly go on. To understand logic in details, especially if you are a beginner, create a test project, open some catalogues with categories and experiment (After the data was changed, refresh the page and press button “Fill in”).

FAQ

Cannot replace the project?

Open the project manager, Menu-Project manager and unselect the checkbox below “Do not show the project manager anymore”. After that, the program will ask you to select a project in order to open the required tool, select the required project.
